Can ASP build a studio with both absorption and diffusion?

Our core line is fabric-wrapped absorbers and bass traps. We do not currently sell a wide diffuser line. For projects that need both absorption and diffusion, we focus on the absorption side and recommend a separate diffuser source. If absorption alone solves your room, you do not need diffusion.

Do ASP bass traps perform like GIK's?

ASP 4-inch panels and dedicated bass traps reach into the low-mids and lower bass. For deep low-end (below 80 Hz) in serious mix rooms, GIK's wider corner-trap line is the established choice. For most home and project studios, ASP 4-inch panels in corners are sufficient.

What's the price difference?

Both companies price similarly per-panel at the standard fabric-wrap level. ASP does not upcharge for custom sizes; some competitors do. Send us your project for an apples-to-apples quote.

Where are ASP panels made?

Lombard, IL, in our domestic facility. NRC up to 1.0 on 2-inch panels, lifetime guarantee, custom sizes at no upcharge.

How long are ASP lead times compared to GIK?

ASP builds every panel to order and confirms the current production window by phone. GIK lead times typically run 3-6 weeks for custom orders depending on the product line.
