Our standard ASTM E84 Class A flammability certificate is the documentation typically required for IBC, NFPA 101, and most state and local code amendments covering Class A interior finish materials. If your AHJ requires a project-specific test report (custom fabric, custom core, custom assembly), call us at (888) 923-5777 with the project details and we will tell you what is doable.

Yes. The Homasote 440 SoundBarrier 3-Part Architect Specifications PDF is in CSI format and designed for direct paste-in. The 2-inch wall panel spec sheet and fabric-wrapped fiber wall board specs are designed for submittal packages. For custom fabrics or custom assemblies that need updated spec language, submit a Free Room Analysis with your CSI section number and we will draft language for you.

We can commission project-specific ASTM C-423 acoustic tests or ASTM E84 flame-spread tests for custom assemblies if the project budget supports it. Typical lead time on custom test commissions is 3-6 weeks. Call (888) 923-5777 with your project scope and target test conditions.

Burlap and microsuede are not Class A by default. Custom-printed fabrics depend on the print line. For projects that require Class A documentation, our standard Burch Fabrics Prime Time and Guilford of Maine FR701 are the validated options.
