Acoustic Ceiling Tiles
Ceiling treatment for standard 2x2 and 2x4 T-bar grids, in two materials: drop-in acoustic ceiling tiles at NRC 0.80, and PET felt wall and ceiling panels at NRC 0.88. Both are Class A fire rated (ASTM E84, FSI 5 / SDI 250, Intertek tested) and built for offices, restaurants, classrooms, and any room where ceiling reflections add to the echo.
Who this collection is for
Choose ceiling tiles when a room has a suspended grid ceiling and the reflections coming down are as much of a problem as the walls, common in restaurants, gyms, and open offices. If your ceiling is not a T-bar grid, our standard 2-inch panels can be ceiling-mounted with a cloud kit instead.
How to choose within this collection
- Drop-in acoustic ceiling tiles (NRC 0.80): the straightforward choice for a T-bar grid, no extra hardware needed, sets directly into the grid you already have.
- PET felt wall and ceiling panels (NRC 0.88): made from recycled material, lightweight, and works in the same grid or mounted directly to a wall. Choose felt for a higher absorption number, a lighter tile, or a more design-forward color and texture range.
- Fire rating: both materials carry a Class A rating per ASTM E84 (FSI 5 / SDI 250), Intertek tested, which covers most commercial code requirements. Confirm the specific requirement with your local authority having jurisdiction before installation.
- Mounting: drop-in installation needs no hardware purchase. If you are wall-mounting felt instead of using a grid, standard hardware is on the installer to provide, this collection does not include a felt-specific mounting kit.
When a different collection is the better fit
No suspended grid, or want a printed image on the ceiling instead of a plain tile? Custom art panels can be ceiling-mounted with a cloud kit. Need bass control instead of mid and high frequency absorption? See bass traps.
Common questions
What NRC do these tiles have?
Drop-in tiles are NRC 0.80. PET felt panels are NRC 0.88.
Are they fire rated?
Class A per ASTM E84 (FSI 5 / SDI 250), Intertek tested. We keep the specific test lab and material supplier confidential.
Do I need special mounting hardware?
No for drop-in grid installation. For wall-mounted felt, standard installer-supplied hardware is all that is needed.
Will these fit my ceiling grid?
Both materials are sized for standard 2x2 and 2x4 T-bar grids.
Which one should I pick?
Drop-in tiles for the simplest fit at NRC 0.80. PET felt for a higher NRC of 0.88, a lighter tile, and more color and texture options.
