Divide the resulting square footage by your panel's coverage (a standard 24 by 48 inch panel covers 8 square feet) to get a panel count.
Example: a 10 ft by 10 ft garage rehearsal space, 8 ft ceiling, walls only, targeting the middle of the range at 25 percent.
