What is the difference between Burlap and Microsuede fabric?

Burlap has a textured, woven, casual look - good for warehouses, restaurants, lofts, industrial-modern spaces. Microsuede is soft, smooth, more formal - good for offices, conference rooms, home theaters, recording studios. Both are Class A fire rated and acoustically transparent. Both come in our standard color range. Order a swatch sample to feel the difference in person.

What fabric colors are available for custom panels?

What color fabric do you print art panels on?

For art panels, we print directly onto a base white fabric using large-format print process. The color penetrates the fabric fibers, so your image displays accurately and the panel still is acoustically transparent so the panel still functions as a real acoustic absorber. The fabric base does not affect the printed colors - your image looks the way you designed it.

What fabric and colors do your acoustic panels come in?

Our panels are wrapped in Burch Fabrics Prime Time — fire-rated, acoustically transparent fabric available in dozens of colors. Request a free digital swatch card by email, or we'll mail you physical swatches to check colors in your space.

Can acoustic panel fabrics be cleaned with bleach?

Only certain fabrics. Use bleach on fabric-wrapped panels only when the fabric’s spec sheet explicitly says “bleach-cleanable.”

Procedure for rated fabrics only:

  1. Pre-test on a hidden corner.
  2. Mix 1 part household bleach to 9 parts water.
  3. Lightly dampen a clean cloth (do not soak the panel) and blot gently.
  4. Wipe with a new, water-dampened cloth to rinse. Air dry.

Do not use bleach on printed acoustic art or PET felt.
