Minimum: front two corners with 4 panels each (8 panels total). Good treatment: all four vertical corners with 4 to 6 panels each (16 to 24 panels total). Bass traps work best floor-to-ceiling because low-frequency pressure builds up where 3 surfaces meet.

Corner bass traps fit floor-to-ceiling in room corners using included corner brackets that screw into the adjacent walls. Bass builds up most in corners, so trapping there is the highest-leverage low-frequency treatment in a studio or home theater. Each trap ships with mounting hardware and instructions.

Bass traps are specifically designed to absorb low-frequency sound waves (boomy bass, kick drum buildup, room resonance). 4-inch panels absorb mid to high frequencies plus some low-frequency content thanks to their depth.
