Why Choose Large Format Panels?
Faster Installation: One 4'x8' panel covers the same area as four 2'x4' panels. Fewer panels means fewer mounting points, less installation time, and lower labor costs. For commercial projects, this translates to significant savings.
Cleaner Appearance: Large panels create a smooth, uniform wall appearance with fewer seams and gaps. The result looks more architectural and intentional - like a designed interior feature rather than individual panels attached to a wall.
Better Acoustic Continuity: Large panels provide uninterrupted absorption across their entire surface. No gaps between small panels where sound can reflect through. Continuous coverage means consistent acoustic performance.
Commercial Applications: Architects and designers prefer large-format panels for commercial projects. They integrate better with commercial interiors and satisfy both acoustic performance requirements and aesthetic standards. Our large panels meet Class A fire ratings required for commercial installations.
Size Guide
-
48"x48" (4'x4'): Perfect for creating square accent panels or fitting between windows and architectural features
-
48"x72" (4'x6'): Versatile mid-size option for most wall applications
-
48"x96" (4'x8'): Maximum coverage - one panel covers a full 4x8 sheet of wall space. Floor-to-ceiling coverage in standard 8-foot rooms.
Shipping & Handling
Large panels ship via freight carrier in custom protective packaging. Each panel is individually wrapped and boxed to prevent damage during transit. Delivery includes curbside or dock delivery depending on your location. We coordinate delivery timing to ensure panels arrive safely.
Installation
Large panels install using heavy-duty Z-clips (sold separately) or French cleat systems. Due to their size, two-person installation is recommended. Each panel is surprisingly lightweight despite its size - the rigid fiberglass core is strong but not heavy. Professional installation available in many areas.
