How are acoustic panels normally attached to the wall?
Standard ASP fabric-wrapped panels mount with a two-piece Z-clip system: one clip screws to the wall, the matching clip attaches to the back of the panel, and the panel hangs flush and level. An off-wall standoff adds a gap behind the panel for improved low-frequency absorption.
The Z-clip kit works on drywall, wood, or concrete walls, and the panel lifts straight off the wall clips for cleaning or moving later, no re-drilling needed. For larger, multi-panel installs, extra Z-clip sets are available so every panel gets its own hardware.
PET felt panels are the exception: felt doesn't ship with a fixed mounting kit. Installers commonly use adhesive, hook-and-loop, or their own hardware depending on the wall and the job, so mounting hardware for felt is left to the installer's preference rather than a single SKU.
What is a Z-clip?
Two interlocking metal clips, one screwed to the wall and one on the panel's back frame, that let the panel hang flush and level and lift off cleanly later.
Do I need to hit a stud to hang a panel?
No. The Z-clip installation kit is rated for drywall, wood, or concrete walls.

Does PET felt come with mounting hardware?
