Built Like a Real Acoustic Panel, Not a Picture Frame

Every custom art panel is built on the same professional core as the rest of our acoustic panels: rigid fiberglass or PET felt, wrapped in acoustically transparent fabric. The print is on the fabric. Sound passes through the print to the absorbent core behind it. You get a finished piece of wall art that actually treats the room.

• Fabric: Burch Fabrics Prime Time, the Made in the USA equivalent of Guilford of Maine (a Canadian company) Anchorage and FR701.
• Core: rigid fiberglass or PET felt acoustic substrate.
• Sound absorption: NRC 1.0 on 2 inch panels. Lower NRC on 1 inch panels and on art panels printed for decorative use only.
• Made in: USA. Manufactured and printed in-house.
• Sizing: standard or custom up to 58 inches wide, 20 feet long.

What file formats do you accept?

JPG, JPEG, TIF, AI, PSD, EPS, and PDF. The higher the resolution, the cleaner the print at large sizes. For panels over 30 inches, send the largest version of the file you have.

Will printing on the panel affect acoustic performance?

No. The fabric is acoustically transparent. Sound passes through the printed fabric to the absorbent core, so the panel still performs as an acoustic panel. NRC 1.0 applies to 2 inch panels.

What is the lead time?

Most custom art panels print and ship within a week of proof approval. Larger orders or unusual sizes can take longer. For exact timing on a specific order, call 888-923-5777.
